GISMA Business School relocates to new campus in the heart of Berlin

GISMA Business School today announced the relocation of its Berlin campus to new premises on Dessauer Strasse, which will host the current portfolio of postgraduate programmes and executive education.

Established in Hannover in 1999, GISMA opened its second campus in Berlin in 2017 on Potsdamer Strasse. The school has now moved to the centre of the city, into a modern university complex including classrooms and lecture halls, computer labs and a library along with other essential services in the direct vicinity of Potsdamer Platz.

Dr Elisabeth Grindel-Denby, GISMA’s Director Academic Affairs and Head of Campus Berlin, said: “Over the past year we have worked to expand our offer, an effort that has been well received by an increasing number of students. We are excited to welcome our students in an environment that has been designed to maximise their learning experience.”

In Berlin, GISMA hosts postgraduate Master´s degree and MBA programmes, which delivery has been moved to the new location at the beginning of 2019. These include GISMA’s core portfolio, and the internationally accredited programmes in collaboration with Grenoble Ecole de Management and The University of Law.

The new campus is located at the heart of the capital, close to some of the key players in the corporate world and the main government and public institutions. Studying in the immediate proximity of the city’s international business landscape and local cultural heritage will create plenty of networking opportunities for GISMA’s students, faculty and partners.

Dr Thorsten Thiel, Managing Director at GISMA Business School, said: “GISMA has been growing rapidly, a trend we are looking to pursue in 2019. This development calls for dedicated spaces, equipped to help our students reaching their career goals.

“We are committed to an academic offer that is industry based, impact focused and internationally inspired in content and teaching. The strategic location of the new campus is the key to deliver GISMA’s vision as an education provider; a practical approach linked to industry needs to nurture future leaders for worldwide businesses.”
