London School of Business & Finance’s Digital Academy set to further develop student skills in the digital and tech sphere

London School of Business & Finance has introduced a new, comprehensive range of digital courses, delivered live to support people looking to develop or acquire skills across the digital and tech sphere.

Topics covered include AWS academy cloud-based computing, machine learning, data science, data analytics, cybersecurity, blockchain, cryptocurrency and digital transformation.

While all the AWS courses are delivered by AWS approved trainers, those in cybersecurity and data analytics are designed and delivered in partnership with INT College Israel, a world-renowned digital training provider with multiple industry accolades within the cybersecurity and big data sectors of Israel’s high-tech industry.

“As workplaces demand greater awareness in digital technologies, students will benefit from gaining conceptual competencies and a practical understanding as to how theory can be applied in the workplace in order to achieve success,” says Shane De Fonseka, Academic Director for Executive Education and Digital Academy. “Our partner in Cybersecurity and Big Data, INT, The International Centre for High-Tech and Innovation, has been an instrument for champions in the various high-tech fields, since 2001, with thousands of graduates today leading the industry and starring in a variety of coveted key positions.”

The Courses:

Cybersecurity for Managers and Stakeholders

Offered in partnership with INT college, this course is designed for managers and leaders who want an understanding of the invisible threats from cybercrime and how to manage risk.

Data Analytics with Power BI

A short course teaching the core concepts of visualisation through Microsoft Power BI, students will learn how to transform data sets into easy-to-digest reports, summaries, dashboards, graphs, charts and maps. The course is also offered in partnership with INT college.

AWS Academy Cloud Foundations

One of LSBF’s Digital Academy courses created to serve students looking for a career in cloud computing or those who wish to gain a conceptual and practical understanding of cloud-based computing. Students will gain a detailed overview of cloud concepts, AWS core services, security, architecture, pricing and support.

 

AWS Academy Machine Learning Fundamentals

One of LSBF’s Digital Academy courses offered in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Academy, this course has been created to serve students looking for a career in machine learning and to learn how the technology can be used for business intelligence. Students gain a general understanding of data science, machine learning and learn how to implement machine learning applications using AWS services such as Amazon SageMaker and Jupyter Notebook.

Digital Marketing and Social Media

Focusing on the practical application of social media and marketing tools, this course will teach candidates how to set up and maintain a presence in the digital and social media world. Throughout the course, students will design creative campaigns and innovative solutions for digital and social media.
