Gisma University of Applied Sciences joins SAP University Alliances programme

Recently, Gisma University officially became a member of the SAP University Alliances programme. This partnership brings incredible opportunities for Gisma students and staff, reinforcing their commitment to delivering exceptional education in the digital era.

As an Alliance Member, Gisma gains exclusive access to SAP's academic education materials, enriching their teaching and learning experiences. Students will enjoy unlimited access to these valuable resources, while teaching staff can utilise them to enhance their class preparations.
The collaboration with SAP will also open doors to internships, graduate programmes, and Early Talents recruitment. The Career Centre will keep students informed about these fantastic opportunities, allowing them to gain practical industry experiences aligned with their studies. Through the SAP Learning Hub Academic Edition, faculty gain access to comprehensive teaching materials, keeping them up-to-date with the latest advancements in the SAP ecosystem. This will empower them to provide cutting-edge knowledge to Gisma students, ensuring they stay ahead of the curve.
Students will have open access to SAP training and groups, fostering software competencies and providing opportunities for skill growth. Platforms like the SAP Learning Student Zone and Coursera will serve as valuable channels for students to acquire knowledge in various SAP-related domains.

Gisma is thrilled to offer its students the opportunity to obtain SAP certifications through external partners, such as erp4students. These certifications validate their SAP skills and significantly enhance their employability in the industry. Exciting workshops will be organised, exploring hot topics like the Metaverse, Chat GPT, and future businesses. These workshops encourage in-depth research, critical thinking, and creativity among students.

Furthermore, they'll host meetups with student groups focused on entrepreneurship, sustainability, technology, and more. These gatherings will feature one-hour exchanges with SAP experts, expanding students' industry insights and networking opportunities.

Gisma will also be inviting SAP speakers to engage with our students in Computer Science and Engineering. These sessions will provide first-hand knowledge from industry professionals, supplementing their classroom learning with real-world experiences.

To foster innovation and collaboration, Gisma will also organise exhilarating hackathons where students can showcase their problem-solving skills and create innovative solutions.

Gisma extends its sincere gratitude to Eloise Capet, Head of the Career Centre at Gisma, for her pivotal role in achieving this milestone for the university. Her dedication has paved the way for this esteemed partnership with SAP.

Gisma’s membership in the SAP University Alliances programme will propel them forward, equipping students with the skills and knowledge to excel in the digital economy.
