On Thursday 2 November, Sagi Hartov, CEO of GUS Germany accepted the German Education Award on behalf of the University of Europe for Applied Sciences. The prestigious award ceremony took place in Berlin and UE excelled in the category of ‘Private Universities Universal’ and ranked among the top non-governmental educational institutions. Among the eight evaluated private universities, UE secured the first place in Customer Service, second place in Price-Performance Ratio and Offerings, and third place in Recommendations.
The German Education Award, presented by the German Institute for Service Quality and the news channel ntv, recognises the most popular institutions and companies in the education sector. A population-representative survey assessed customer satisfaction with non-governmental educational providers in terms of price-performance ratio, offerings, and customer service. Additionally, consumer willingness to recommend these providers was factored into the overall result, with a total of 33,242 received votes.
Catja Stammen, one of the survey’s initiators and the Editor-in-Chief of ntv’s business magazines, stated: “The award represents innovation and quality in Germany’s educational landscape and honours those who enrich our education system.”
Sagi Hartov said: “I am very proud to accept this award on behalf of UE. At UE, we are constantly striving to incorporate the trends of the future into our current study programs, in order to stay one step ahead in the job markets. We impart this innovative educational philosophy to our students, and this award clearly indicates that we are on the right track.”
