The University of Law signs agreement with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators

The University of Law (ULaw) has signed an agreement with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) to deliver the LLM International Arbitration.

The partnership between ULaw and CIArb will see students of ULaw’s LLM International Arbitration be eligible for Membership of CIArb upon successful completion of the International Arbitration module.

Students may apply for free Student membership of CIArb during the course of the programme. Upon successful completion of the International Arbitration module, students may apply to become a Member of CIArb which enables the use of the post nominal letters “MCIArb” and which gives them access to host of other benefits, including:
• Networking opportunities through CIArb’s international and inclusive community of members spanning 150 jurisdictions
• Career development through CIArb’s world-renowned training, events and resources
• Resources and publications to keep up-to-date with industry and CIArb news and views. These include Arbitration: The Journal of International Arbitration, Mediation, and Dispute Management – CIArb’s peer reviewed, academic journal.


Although the International Arbitration module is primarily aimed at those enrolled on ULaw’s LLM International Arbitration programme, it is also available as an elective module on many of ULaw’s other programmes including the LLM Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

They are the gold standard when it comes to International Arbitration training and it is a privilege to work with their Education and Training team.”
