UPES rises in Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026
UPES has recorded a significant leap in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026, ranking 5th among Indian universities and securing a place in the 501–600 global band. The most noteworthy jump was in the Research Quality category, where UPES moved up 57 positions in a single year and is now ranked 299 globally.
This performance reflects the university’s growing global footprint, driven by quality research, international collaborations, and an innovation-focused academic environment.
The Times Higher Education World Rankings evaluate institutions across teaching, research, citations, international outlook, and industry income, making this achievement an accurate marker of UPES’ progress as a research-led and globally-oriented institution.
