GUS Medical & Veterinary Schools partner with University of Westminster to create new pathway into medical education
GUS Medical & Veterinary Schools has partnered with the University of Westminster (UoW) to create a new international pathway for eligible Medical Sciences graduates who aspire to pursue careers in medicine or veterinary medicine.
Under the new partnership, eligible UoW Medical Sciences BSc Honours graduates who achieve a minimum Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1) can apply to one of the schools, subject to meeting the programme’s additional admission requirements.
Rather than navigating the transition independently, eligible graduates can benefit from a dedicated progression pathway and support from GUS Med & Vet’s Admissions Team throughout the application and transition process.
For GUS Med & Vet, the collaboration also strengthens its relationships with internationally focused universities and expands opportunities for students seeking careers in healthcare. UoW’s Medical Sciences programme provides students with a foundation in biomedical and clinical sciences, while SMUSOM offers an MD programme combining faculty support with hands-on clinical training.

The agreement is part of GUS Med & Vet’s broader focus on creating accessible international pathways into medical and veterinary education and helping qualified students progress from undergraduate study toward professional careers.
