UPES and Hewlett Packard Enterprise launch AI-driven Centre of Excellence on campus
UPES, in strategic partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), has inaugurated the HPE Networking AI-Driven Centre of Excellence at its Dehradun campus, marking another step in the university’s AI-first learning journey. The Centre has been designed to bridge academia and industry by equipping students with future-ready capabilities in AI-driven networking, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity and enterprise technologies.
The Centre will offer curriculum integration, faculty development, hands-on lab experiences, live demonstrations, project-based learning, HPE-led bootcamps, certification pathways and opportunities for interdisciplinary innovation and research. Students will also gain access to HPE Networking training at Associate and Specialist levels, along with potential internship and hiring pathways across HPE, its partners and customers.
The inauguration included a leadership roundtable, Centre showcase, student keynote by HPE’s Shishir Singh, and engagement with HPE’s global leadership, reinforcing UPES’ commitment to industry-aligned, AI-driven talent development.
