SMU announces new partnership with University College of the Cayman Islands

On Friday 2 February, St. Matthews University announced that it has partnered with the University College of the Cayman Islands (UCCI) to streamline the path for Caymanian students to receive their Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees.
This collaboration signifies an important milestone in the Cayman Islands’ medical education and healthcare and prepares Caymanian students for roles in medicine and veterinary science.
Dr Brendan Lee, Executive Dean at SMU, said: “St. Matthews is excited to join forces with UCCI in this pivotal initiative. By combining our strengths, we are enhancing educational opportunities for Caymanian students and contributing to the global healthcare community.
