GUS Canada CEO receives King Charles III Coronation Medal for Service to Canada
This week, GUS Canada CEO, Cyndi McLeod, was honoured with the King Charles III Coronation Medal in the Senate Chamber of Canada’s Parliament. The medal is a distinguished national award recognising Canadians who have demonstrated exceptional service and dedication to the country.
During a formal ceremony, Cyndi McLeod was awarded the medal in recognition of her decades of impactful leadership in international education, student advocacy, and her efforts to elevate Canada’s standing in the global higher education community.
Cyndi McLeod commented: “Receiving the King Charles III Coronation Medal is an incredible honour that reflects not only my personal commitment to global education, but the collective efforts of so many who believe in Canada’s role as a leader in international collaboration. I’m deeply grateful for this recognition and inspired to continue building bridges through education.”
