Global University Systems hosts world premiere of Bollywood film Mannu Kya Karegga at BAFTA
Global University Systems held the world premiere of Mannu Kya Karegga? (What Will Mannu Do?) at BAFTA in London this week. The Bollywood film tells the story of a young man’s search for purpose in a world full of noise, pressure, and expectations. Featuring captivating songs, stunning cinematography, and heartfelt storytelling, the film was shot on the picturesque campus of UPES.
Mannu Kya Karegga? is produced by Curious Eyes Cinema, a subsidiary of GUS. Sharad Mehra, Regional Chief Executive Officer of GUS Asia & Australia, served as the producer, while Jannat Sethi, Director at GUS Global Services, took on the role of executive producer. Rising stars Vyom Yadav and Sanchi Bindra played the lead roles under the direction of Ssanjay Tripaathy.
Over 250 attendees gathered for the exclusive screening, including cast members and crew who flew in from India with their families. The event also saw GUS executives, including Aaron Etingen, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
The evening began with cocktails and canapés, followed by the film screening. The event concluded with a Q&A session with the cast, followed by drinks and networking.
The premiere showcased UPES and GUS’s commitment to supporting creative arts and cross-cultural storytelling.
