Aaron Etingen visits Canada to explore growth opportunities in education sectors
Aaron Etingen, Executive Chairman and CEO of Global University Systems, was in Canada this week, hosted by Cyndi McLeod, CEO of GUS Canada and Dr David Gray, Provost and Vice-President, Academic at the University of Niagara Falls Canada, to engage with the senior leadership of GUS Canada and explore opportunities for continued growth and collaboration.
As part of his visit, Aaron toured the University of Niagara Falls Canada campus, where he met with faculty, students, community partners and key stakeholders in the education sector.
Aaron also met with key business leaders, including Doug Ford, Premier of Ontario, Jim Diodati, Mayor of Niagara Falls, and Jack Cockwell, Affiliated Director at Brookfield Asset Management Inc. Their discussions centred on advancing regional development initiatives and identifying strategic opportunities aligned with the ongoing regeneration momentum sparked by the launch of the UNF campus.
This visit reflects GUS’ vision of building globally connected institutions that play a transformative role in local communities, while positioning Niagara Falls as a hub for education-led economic development.
