GUS North America CEO recognised with Global Education and Community Leadership Award
GUS North America CEO Dr Cyndi McLeod, was honoured with the Global Education and Community Leadership Award at the Harmony of Cultures & Honours Gala in Surrey.
The recognition celebrates Dr McLeod’s commitment to education and community leadership, and her work in advancing the role of education as a means of creating opportunities, strengthening communities and bringing people and cultures together.
The annual multicultural leadership and recognition event brings together leaders from business, government, diplomatic missions, education and community organisations to celebrate cultural diversity, leadership and community impact. The gala also recognises individuals and organisations whose contributions are helping to build stronger and more inclusive communities.
For Dr McLeod, the award is both a meaningful recognition of her work and a reminder of the shared responsibility to use education and leadership as forces for positive change.
“This recognition is especially meaningful to me because it reflects the power of education and community leadership to create opportunities, build bridges and bring people and cultures together,” said Dr McLeod. “I accept this award with gratitude, but also as a reminder of the responsibility we share to continue creating meaningful opportunities through education and leadership.”
