GUS Chief Academic Officer & UE President speaks at Future Innovation Summit
On Tuesday 10 October and Wednesday 11 October, Professor Maurits van Rooijen, Chief Academic Officer at GUS and President of UE Dubai, addressed the Future Innovation Summit held in Dubai. He shared valuable insights on Edutech and introduced the new UE Dubai Campus.
The Summit drew the participation of several thousand attendees, both in person and online. It encompassed a wide array of sectors currently undergoing a transformation due to digital technology and artificial intelligence, including health, agriculture, finance, and waste management.
Professor Maurits van Rooijen stated: “It was a great pleasure to speak at the Future Innovation Summit, as these are precisely the topics at the forefront of UE’s agenda. Global events are challenging us in many ways, and it is up to the new generation to devise innovative and creative solutions to numerous problems. To that end, we are now educating young individuals in the UAE, with our focus on Data Science and AI, the fusion of creativity and business, and the generation of creative insights from programs such as Visual Experience Design.”
The Future Innovation Summit Dubai was established four years ago by Adnan al Noorani and has become an annual event. More information can be found here.
