The University of Law publishes live season finale of The Judges podcast series
On Thursday 30 May, The University of Law published the live season finale of its podcast series, The Judges: Power, Politics and the People.
The final episode features Dame Elizabeth Gloster, Lord Grabiner, KC, The Rt Hon Lord Neuberger of Abbotsbury and Lord Falconer of Thoroton. These leading lawyers and former judges took part in a debate to discuss the main themes of the podcast series.
During the episode, Dame Elizabeth Gloster, a former Court of Appeal judge, discussed possibly being among the first women judges to join the Garrick Club since it voted to admit women members after 193 years.
A few high-profile members of the club including Simon Case, the Cabinet Secretary, and Sir Richard Moore, the Head of the Secret Intelligence Service, resigned their membership after The Guardian newspaper revealed the all-male membership list.
