UPES launches launches ‘1,000 Women – 1,000 Dreams’ scholarship initiative
UPES has announced the launch of ‘1,000 Women – 1,000 Dreams’, a women-only scholarship initiative offering 1,000 fully tuition-free Online MBA scholarships across India to mark International Women’s Day 2026. The programme aims to expand access to quality management education and empower women seeking to advance into leadership roles across sectors.
The scholarships will be distributed across three priority groups. A total of 300 scholarships are reserved for women from Armed Forces backgrounds, including serving women personnel as well as spouses and daughters of defence personnel. Another 250 scholarships are earmarked for women in the technology and start-up ecosystem, supporting those working in or building ventures in high-growth sectors. The remaining 450 scholarships are open to women across India, including eligible UPES employees.
The initiative reflects UPES’s broader commitment to women’s empowerment and builds on its ongoing efforts under Project Shakti, which focuses on strengthening women’s leadership, education and career opportunities. Applications for the scholarship programme will open on the UPES website from 7 March 2026.
