On Tuesday 5 December, University Canada West had the privilege of hosting Mr Manish, the Consul General of India in Vancouver.
Following a tour of UCW’s Vancouver House Campus, Mr Manish and his Consulate team met with Dr Bashir Makhoul, President and Vice-Chancellor, along with several UCW team members and students. This collaborative session provided a valuable platform for Mr Manish to share his extensive insights into international relations and diplomacy.
A seasoned diplomat, Mr Manish has dedicated over two decades to the Indian Foreign Service since joining in 1997. His diplomatic journey has included significant roles in Indian Missions across various global destinations, including Moscow, Tashkent, Prague, Colombo and Jakarta. Specialising in strategic affairs, trade and commerce and development cooperation, Mr Manish brings a wealth of expertise to his diplomatic endeavours.
