GUS Canada announces new partnership with AMPEI at NAFSA 2024
The GUS Canada team travelled to New Orleans for the NAFSA 2024 Annual Conference & Expo and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Mexican Association for International Education (AMPEI), which sets the stage for future collaborations.
AMPEI is a non-profit organisation that connects international educators from Mexican higher education institutions. Its members include key figures involved in international education across Mexico’s colleges and universities.
At the event, César E. Gutiérrez Jurado, President of AMPEI, Cyndi McLeod, CEO of GUS Canada, and other members of the GUS Canada team expressed a strong interest in promoting educational initiatives between Mexico and Canada.
Cyndi McLeod said: “This MoU confirms our commitment to exploring joint educational programmes, articulation, pathway progression opportunities and semester abroad programmes with reputable postsecondary institutions in Mexico.”
The NAFSA Conference & Expo is the world’s largest for international education, with educators from over 100 countries participating.
