The University of Law implements Carbon Management programme with target of being carbon neutral by 2030
The University of Law have implemented a Carbon Management program, with the target of being carbon neutral by 2030, achieving an overall reduction of 63% from their 2019 baseline to 2021. The University of Law’s ambition is to embed carbon saving in every aspect of the University, from operating buildings, processing waste, buying products to travelling and teaching.
Our aim is to reduce operational energy consumption in line with our energy targets and carbon emissions in line with our carbon targets. Carbon saving will be embedded in every aspect of the University, from operating our buildings, processing our waste, buying products to travelling and teaching.
Our environment will be one that is inspirational, healthy and enjoyable to inhabit. Students and staff will be conscious of how the actions they take, contribute to a more sustainable planet. Our students will be motivated by their time here to become leaders in their own fields, taking with them our exciting, sustainable ways of living and working.
