CCTB welcomes Taiwanese students to participate in Cultural Experience Initiative
Recently, the Canadian College of Technology and Business welcomed students from Chung Hwa and Hung Kuang universities in Taiwan to its campus in Vancouver for a four-week ‘Business of Healthcare’ Cultural Experience Initiative.
This programme provided the opportunity for the students to experience student life in Canada and explore Vancouver.
During the programme, students received lectures on topics like healthcare management and healthcare information systems. They also participated in workshops and volunteered at a non-profit senior care organisation, which offered valuable insights into team building, business etiquette and Canadian healthcare management.
To complement their learning, the students enjoyed trips to Stanley Park, Whistler and more. The Cultural Experience Initiative gave these students a valuable opportunity to explore Canadian life. The programme concluded this week with a graduation ceremony for the students.
