On Wednesday 8 November, David Wai, Deputy Minister of Colleges and Universities, visited Niagara College – Toronto at the Mirvish location, 740 Bathurst Street, in beautiful Downtown Toronto. The Deputy Minister was given a tour of the facilities and presented with several of the student services offered at NCT, including NCT’s Be Healthy Initiative.
In attendance were: Sean Kennedy, President, Niagara College; Sean Coote, Vice-President, International at Niagara College; Ehsan Safdari, President of GUS Canada Colleges; Diana Mockute, Chief Partnership Officer of GUS Global; Manny Bassi, Executive Director of Operations at GUS Canada; Mina Tadrous, Campus Director at Niagara College – Toronto; Shallen Chen – Associate Dean and Academic at Niagara College – Toronto; Mabel Watt, Director, Government Relations at Niagara College; and Orel Ruiz, Director of Global Campus Operations at Niagara College.
The visit was a constructive opportunity where the Deputy Minister was able to connect with NCT leadership and learn more about the college’s programming and community.
