GUS Medical and Veterinary Schools welcome new elective site partners
On Wednesday 20 September, following the announcement of 10 new clinical elective sites in Canada for aspiring doctors, Jerry Wargo, Executive Vice President for Marketing and Enrollment, and Charles Furey, Executive Director of Business Development for GUS Medical and Veterinary Schools, hosted a special dinner event to welcome and strengthen partnerships with new elective site collaborators in Ottawa, Canada.
The dinner provided an opportunity to foster meaningful connections between the university and healthcare institutions in Ottawa, highlighting the university’s dedication to offering diverse and enriching clinical experiences for students.
Notable doctors in attendance included Dr David Mai specialising in Sports Medicine, Dr Sean Kelly specialising in Pediatrics and Addiction Medicine, Dr Tom Nguyen specialising in Neurology, and Dr Vanessa Doyle also specialising in Neurology.
