LAT partners with QMinds to bridge gender gap in trading industry
Last week, the London Academy of Trading partnered with QMinds, aiming to encourage more women to enter the trading industry.
Founded in 2012, QMinds has become a trusted provider of online courses aimed at helping individuals reach their academic and professional goals. Offering a diverse range of programmes, its vision is to provide individuals with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in an ever-changing and competitive world.
QMinds will be promoting LAT programmes to its audience to provide more individuals with the opportunity to learn about financial markets and trading. Since this is a male-dominated industry, it will be hosting an International Women’s Day event to promote the importance of financial freedom for women.
This aligns very well with LAT’s annual Women in Trading Scholarship awards, which are also aimed at encouraging more women to get involved in financial markets and trading. Paddy Osborn, Academic Dean and Managing Director of LAT said: “We are extremely happy to be partnering with QMinds. They are very professional and respected in the education space and are helping us to change the face of trading by bringing more women into the industry.”
