LCCM announces partnership with EFG London Jazz Festival
The London College of Contemporary Music recently announced it will partner with the EFG London Jazz Festival this November, kicking off with an LCCM stage before its notable Opening Gala, featuring performances from students and alumni.
The partnership will provide promotion and strong affiliation with a major brand, as well as valuable career opportunities for students.
The partnership includes student performances at the Barbican London, behind-the-scenes sound check experiences and ticket allocations for students. LCCM’s Music Box venue will also feature on the official London Jazz Festival programme, hosting seven events across seven days during the festival in November. This includes a ‘Jazz Jam’ hosted by students and a ‘Women in Jazz’ talk with well-known external guests.
Nikki Camilleri, Careers and Industry Liaison Manager at LCCM, said: “I’m delighted to be leading this amazing project with EFG London Jazz Festival and my team. Opportunities like this are truly priceless.”
The event brought together 12 early-stage startups from prestigious institutions, including IITs, BITS Pilani, SRM University, and the National University of Singapore, alongside UPES’s own founders.
