LCCM attends UK Music’s 10-year MAP Partnership celebration at the House of Lords
Last week, a team from the London College of Contemporary Music attended the House of Lords, representing students, staff and the amazing work which has been carried out in partnership with UK Music.
Aiming to widen participation and connect the college with the industry and UK Music membership, the event featured networking and talks from several UK Music figures including Dr Oliver Morris, who has been with UK Music since 2015. Prior to this he was a tutor, researcher, community worker, musician and composer.
The team were also able to meet with the local MP for Southwark, Neil Coyle, to discuss ongoing careers partnerships with local businesses, sharing LCCM’s event programme more widely among the local community and looking forward to continuing to build relationships.
Harry Leckstein, Deputy Managing Director at LCCM said: “It was wonderful to represent LCCM at this event and networking with some of our existing and potential UK Music membership partners.”
