LCCM held auditions for Windish Entertainment at Music Box venue
Last week, LCCM’s Music Box venue hosted an exclusive audition for global entertainment company, Windish Entertainment.
Windish Entertainment, based in the US, cast musicians for opportunities on Holland America Line cruises and other global entertainment venues, They were specifically seeking talented pianists, guitarists, bassists and drummers who can sight-read, as well as talented singing pianists and female vocalists.
Hosting the event provided LCCM artists with a valuable opportunity to connect directly with their judges. This increased their chances of securing lucrative positions that included single-cabin accommodation and enhanced status while travelling the world. As a result, these artists can refine their musicianship and perform a diverse range of musical styles each night, further developing their skills and careers in a global context.
Nikki Camilleri, Industry Liaison at LCCM said: “It was a fantastic day at the Music Box with Windish Entertainment. Our students gained priceless experience with a seasoned judge and a musician for guidance, as well as the opportunity of well-paid work.”
