LCCM hosts ‘The Pulsating Rhythms of Kinetika Bloco’ fundraising event

On Friday 9 February, London College of Contemporary Music hosted ‘The Pulsating Rhythms of Kinetika Bloco’ fundraising event at the Music Box.
Kinetika Bloco, is an amazing grassroots charity, whose dedication to providing opportunities for the youth of South London through music education is truly remarkable.
Generously sponsored by LCCM and facilitated by Daniela Magni, Youth Music Officer, the event proved to be a resounding success. The venue was buzzing with excitement, and a collective celebration of music, talent, and community spirit.
Throughout the evening, the steel pan section held the audience in thrall, creating an atmosphere charged with positive energy and unity. The up-and-coming brass band, ‘Where’s Rei?’ added a fresh, innovative touch to the stage while DJ Mys Souljah kept the dance floor alive.
This successful fundraiser not only highlighted the incredible musical talent nurtured by Kinetika Bloco but how an organisation, like LCCM, can be involved in helping young musicians through the power of community building and raising awareness of multiple pathways for them into higher education.
As the final notes faded away, the echoes of the night lingered, leaving a lasting impact on the audience. The event not only raised crucial funds for Kinetika Bloco’s invaluable work but also fostered a sense of pride and solidarity within the community. With LCCM’s sponsorship and the exceptional performances, this fundraising event stands as a shining example of how music can be a force for positive change and empowerment in the lives of the youth.
