LSBF signs Climate Action Network for International Education Accord
On Wednesday 10 April, the London School of Business and Finance announced that it officially signed the Climate Action Network for International Education (CANIE) Accord.
This prestigious international agreement signifies LSBF’s commitment to building a more sustainable future for education.
The CANIE Accord aligns with LSBF’s core values. The school is dedicated to fostering responsible practices within the international education sector, and this agreement provides a clear framework for achieving that goal.
By becoming a signatory, LSBF pledges to implement specific actions to address climate change, including reducing its environmental footprint through travel and resource management and integrating sustainability themes into its curriculum and student activities. LSBF will also collaborate with other institutions to drive positive change across the education sector.
Dr Shahnaz Hamid, Dean of LSBF, said: “By endorsing the CANIE Accord, we commit to building a future where our actions nurture environmental stewardship. This equips future generations with the tools they need for a sustainable world.”
