The University of Law achieves next step towards Net Zero with Planet Mark
Working with Plant Mark, an organisation offering an internationally recognised sustainability certification, The University of Law has become a Planet Mark Certified Business and received certification of its full carbon footprint, including the measurement of emissions due to its supply chain.
The certification was achieved through a number of sustainability initiatives set out by the University, focusing on areas such as sustainable procurement and a sustainable supply chain charter.
The University of Law will work over the next reporting year to create a Net Zero Transition Plan and achieve Planet Mark’s Net Zero Committed certification. The plan will also align with the Transition Plan Taskforce (TPT) framework, a UK Government initiative to develop the gold standard for private sector climate transition plans.
