The University of Law alumna competes in 2024 Paris Olympics Marathon

Earlier this month, Rose Harvey, The University of Law alumna, completed the Paris Olympics Marathon for Team GB in under three hours despite breaking her leg during the race.
When talking to the BBC, she said it became clear to her from about two miles into the race that her hip was going to be in pain. She said: “It was really tough… The hills didn’t help at all, the downhills were just agony, and it just got worse and worse. At the halfway mark, I knew it was going to be incredibly painful. The Olympic energy was kind of what kept me going to that finish line.”
The University of Law congratulates Rose Harvey for completing the race under such gruelling conditions and representing Team GB.
