Trebas Ontario hosts recording session with Resilient Musicians Academy

Last week, Trebas Institute Ontario hosted an on-campus recording session with the Resilient Musicians Academy, a music school dedicated to both mental health advocacy and empowering aspiring artists.
The recording session was held in Sonic Studio, the college’s very own recording studio. Vocal students from the Resilient Musicians Academy recorded music under the guidance of Jeff Wright Head of the Audio Engineering Department. It was their first time recording in a professional setting, making for a memorable experience.
The Resilient Musicians Academy was founded by Mary Mendoza, an artist who has performed at some of Toronto’s most popular festivals and alongside notable acts like the Black Eyed Peas. She is also a mental health advocate and speaker.
