On Thursday 4 April, University Canada West won Best Education Online Video at the Web Marketing Association’s 2024 Internet Advertising Competition Awards for its ‘That’s Boss, That’s UCW’ promotional video.
Created in collaboration with Victoria-based Riptide Studios, the video was launched on YouTube and various social media channels to attract prospective students and highlight the university’s key attributes.
Midya U, Vice-President, Marketing and Communications at UCW, said: “It is a great honour to receive this accolade. This recognition is a reflection of the tireless effort, ingenuity and inventive drive of our exceptional marketing and communications team.”
This marks the third award for the video, which also secured the Advertising – Online Ad (Single) Platinum honour at the MUSE Creative Awards and was a Platinum Winner in the Advertising/Marketing Online Video ad category for the Association of Marketing and Communications Professional’s MarCom Awards.
Established in 1999, the Internet Advertising Competition Awards recognise the best online advertising in 86 industries and nine online formats, including online ad, video, mobile, newsletter, email and social media.
