UCW receives multiple recognitions from CourseCompare for 2024
On Friday 9 February, University Canada West was named one of CourseCompare’s Best Online Universities, Best Online MBA Programmes and Best Online BBA/BCom Programmes for 2024.
This marks the fourth consecutive year that UCW has been honoured for having one of Canada’s Top Online MBA Programmes. Additionally, UCW’s Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) programme was ranked among the top programmes for the first time.
Dr Bashir Makhoul, UCW President & Vice-Chancellor, said: “We are delighted and honoured to be named the top in multiple categories by CourseCompare. This amplifies the work our faculty and staff do to provide the best education to our students.”
CourseCompare’s assessment criteria, which focuses on job placement rates, highlights UCW’s dedication to academic quality and student success. The evaluation process includes feedback from recent graduates, industry recognition, employer satisfaction surveys, post-graduation earning potential and graduation rates.
CourseCompare said of UCW’s BCom programme: “The global economy-focused programme prepares graduates for a career in management or business by instilling a deep understanding of core business areas, while enhancing fundamental skills in writing, teamwork and research.”
