UE and Anhui University of Chinese Medicine sign MoU
On Thursday 30 November, a high-level delegation from Anhui, China visited the Iserlohn campus of the University of Europe for Applied Sciences. The purpose of the meeting was to sign a cooperation agreement in the field of health programmes between the two universities. The focus of this collaboration is on cooperation and exchange in terms of teaching and research.
Qi Wang, President of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine, said: “We are very excited about collaborating with UE. Connecting our respective expertise and experiences from China and Germany to successfully develop new programs that meet the needs of future health markets is immensely important. We can achieve this best by combining our experiences from the East and West to work together successfully. With the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, we are taking the first step here.”
Thomas Burgartz, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Psychology, and Health, said: “It is important that we open ourselves up and increasingly seek international collaboration in the future. With the Anhui University of Chinese Medicine, we have found a high-profile partner organisation, and now we need to explore in which areas we can further strengthen our potentials. The Iserlohn campus is ready and looks forward to welcoming numerous international students.”
