UE Dubai awards inaugural Women in Tech Scholarships

Last week, the University of Europe for Applied Sciences awarded its inaugural Women in Tech Scholarships at the UE Campus in Dubai.
This scholarship programme is dedicated to female applicants pursuing technology-related programmes at UE.
The first recipients of this prestigious award are Esther Wairimu Kamau, Heba Abedalbaki and Hadil Aziz Saeed Ahmed Alzeqri. They received their certificates in an official award ceremony from Dahlia Mahmoud and Eman Abukhousa, Professors at the UE Dubai campus.
Professor Dr Eman Abukhousa said: “We are delighted for the winners and proud of our future students. Supporting women in tech is our mission, and we are confident that these talented young women will significantly impact the job market through their education.”
The Women in Tech Scholarships at UE are designed to support and recognise outstanding female talent in the areas of data, tech and engineering.
