University Canada West and Nanfang College Guangzhou launch joint 1+1 MBA

University Canada West and Nanfang College, Guangzhou, recently signed a cooperation agreement at the Consulate General of Canada in Guangzhou to launch a joint 1+1 MBA programme.
Mr Jun-Tsai Wu, Vice Consul and Ms Qiao Yan, Trade Commissioner at the Canadian Consulate General in Guangzhou and the UCW China Team, witnessed the signing ceremony.
The two universities announced that the programme will begin admissions in 2025, annually selecting 70 top NCG undergraduates. Students will complete one year of study in China and one in Canada, aiming to develop globally minded, practice-oriented business professionals.
UCW President, Dr Bashir Makhoul, and NCG Vice President, Professor Liu Wenbin, congratulated the programme’s launch, highlighting the benefits of shared academic resources, joint curriculum development and career support in advancing business education internationalisation.
