University Canada West approved to continue offering MBA by British Columbian Ministry
British Columbia’s Minister of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills has renewed University Canada West’s consent to continue offering the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree programme.
“I would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Minister Anne Kang and the Degree Quality Assessment Board for their consent and for working closely with UCW’s leadership team throughout this process,” said Dr Bashir Makhoul, UCW President and Vice-Chancellor.
Last year, the Ministry authorised UCW to continue to operate as a “university” for five years. Additionally, the Ministry renewed UCW’s consent to continue offering its Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) and Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication (BABC) programmes for three years. The Associate of Arts (AA) programme has been renewed for two years.
These reviews were completed in the normal course of business, which requires UCW to renew its accreditation and consent with the Ministry every few years.
