University Canada West joins Business Graduates Association as bronze member
On Monday 29 January, University Canada West announced its new membership with the Business Graduates Association. The association was established in London in 1967 and promotes business education. The Business Graduates Association supports graduates by fostering connections among students, educators and employers to encourage collaboration and growth. Notably, the association played a pivotal role in the formation of the Association of MBAs (AMBA), a prominent accreditation body for MBA programmes and other graduate business degrees.
Komil Mamajanov, UCW’s Vice President of Strategic Development, said: “UCW is excited to become a member of the Business Graduates Association. In addition to the increased opportunities it will bring to our students and faculty, it is a first step towards full AMBA accreditation for our MBA programme. The resources provided by the association mean our students can continue to be lifelong learners. The UCW Community will be able to keep making an impact around the globe and share our voice in the future of business education.”
Through this partnership, UCW has access to a range of benefits and services provided by the association, including a free student membership platform with access to the career development centre, free attendance to capacity building workshops and the ability to publish research and findings on the BGA Trailblazer Platform.
