University Canada West’s Vice President of People & Culture honoured as Top 50 Woman Leader in Vancouver
For the second year in a row, Herneet Dhillon, Vice President of People & Culture (HR) at University Canada West, has been named one of the Top 50 Women Leaders of Vancouver by Women We Admire.
Women We Admire is one of the fastest-growing professional women’s networks, comprised of the most accomplished women executives and leaders across the US and Canada. The women recognised in the annual list exemplify the talent, vision and leadership that continue to drive Vancouver’s success and influence on the global stage.
A seasoned human resources leader with a wealth of expertise and experience, Herneet Dhillon was honoured for her instrumental role in driving the growth and success of employee development at UCW.
The Women We Admire article noted: “She has been instrumental in aligning people strategy with institutional goals, championing diversity and inclusion by building a workforce that represents 58 nationalities, and ensuring that faculty and staff reflect the global backgrounds of UCW’s students.”
The event brought together 12 early-stage startups from prestigious institutions, including IITs, BITS Pilani, SRM University, and the National University of Singapore, alongside UPES’s own founders.
