UPES strengthens global ties with University of Edinburgh
UPES welcomed a distinguished delegation from the University of Edinburgh, a significant step towards strengthening international academic partnerships.
The delegation, comprising Dr Chris Beckett, Degree Programme Manager, Civil and Environmental Engineering) and Ala Ross, Student Recruitment Officer, engaged in discussions on curriculum development and international learning opportunities for students.
A key highlight was the deliberation on a 2+2 double degree programme in BTech/BEng Civil Engineering, aimed at providing students with an international academic experience. Additionally, an information session was conducted for first-year students interested in 2+2 pathways in Chemical, Electrical/Electronics, and Civil Engineering, along with insights into MSc and PhD opportunities for senior students.
This visit marks another milestone in UPES’ efforts to expand academic collaborations and provide students with access to world-class education.
