From Friday 5 to Monday 8 May, GUS Canada attended International Consultants for Education and Fairs (ICEF) in Vancouver. The conference brought together educational providers and student recruitment partners. GUS Canada facilitated meaningful connections and discussions through several hosted events and initiatives that took place during the conference.
Over the course of the conference, GUS Canada hosted a special group of delegates. Guests included representatives from Niagara College Canada, led by Sean Kennedy President of NCT, and Fleming College Toronto, led by Maureen Adamson, President of FCT. The City of Niagara Falls leadership team also included Jim Diodati, Mayor of Niagara Falls. The delegation participated in networking events, special presentations and campus tours of the University Canada West’s Vancouver House Campus.
Members of the GUS and GUS Canada’s senior Leadership team were also in attendance. Cyndi McLeod, CEO of GUS Canada, kicked off ICEF with a presentation about exceptional people, exceptional partners and exceptional results. More than 60 members of the GUS and GUS Canada teams attended ICEF. The teams participated in various conference events, including seminars, presentations and meetings.
GUS Canada wrapped up the conference by hosting a farewell party at D/6 Bar & Lounge on Monday 8 May. The party was an opportunity to celebrate more than 300 partners and connect after a busy conference schedule.
